Mrs. Marilou Tolico- Villanueva or Ms. “Lot” to her friends ( Mrs.  Universe -Philippines 2017) aside from being a beauty queen, she is a champion of rights of women and empowering women. She recently represented Mrs. Universe 2017 Pageant held last August 26 to September 3, 2017 in Durban, South Africa and was given a special award title as Mrs. Universe Loyal 2017.

HER PERSONAL MISSION
She is head of PHQ Events, creating events  to recognized the role of the Filipino Women in the Society , giving recognition and awards to those women who excel on their chosen field that touches the lives of every Filipino. And gathering advocate women in supporting and creating programs/projects to support other women and children.

HER PERSONAL STORY
She was born in Cebu City while her father hails from Cavite province. Early in her childhood years she was raised in Carcar and in Cebu City where she started school in University of San Carlos. Later moved to Mindanao with her family.  She is currently residing in San Pedro, Laguna  province with her husband Anthony Villanueva and four children.
