Philippine Honorable Queens: Remembering The Elderly
The Forgotten ones.
Yes it's unfortunate to see our elderly/senior citizens left in a place without their love ones. Their stories, either their children have grown, left home and have families of their own to worry about. Some, sadly, may have lost their husband, wife or old friends and feel isolated. Let us remind them that they are not forgotten.
Community outreach project activity was held at GRACES Home for the Elderly at Quezon City last January 13 2017. Spearheaded by our PHQ Awardee, Mrs. Cheryl F. Villanueva and Fort Bonifacio High School SHS faculty and students. Together with Marilou Tolico Villanueva - Mrs Universe Loyal 2017, Engr. Marilou Go Lim - fellow PHQ Awardee, SHS Teachers, Caregiving Students. Around 120 elders recepients of the distribution of goods, wellness activity, feeding activity and entertainment was successfully executed with the help of 35 volunteers (teachers and students).
